DIY Solar Power Kits – Homemade Energy Review

Homemade Energy is fast becoming the buzz word in environmental circles. Consumers are becoming fed up with the problems associated with using conventional energy resources. Tired of rising costs, changing our lifestyle and in some cases being subjected to rationing, many home owners are turning to the newest trend in energy conservation DIY Solar Power Kits.

A number of companies are now producing homemade energy guides, available for instant download on the internet, which give you step by step instructions on how to assemble the materials for your own DIY solar power kits. The guides cost around $40 to $60 and the materials required to build your kit will cost around $200, much cheaper than purchasing and installing an off the shelf kit (the costs may run into many thousands of dollars.

The guides often come in the form of an instruction manual and video series which contain easy to follow diagrams, instructions and examples.

Having put assembled and implemented my own DIY Solar Power Kits, I can vouch the process is an easy and painless task, and the results in terms of saving money are stunning.

The freedom a DIY solar Power Kit gives you to feel that your are no longer dependent on the power company and their rising costs for your power needs is a liberating one indeed. How long has it been since you can leave a room for an hour or so and leave the lights on without concern for cost or environmental impact? As solar is a renewable energy source and doesn’t cost a dime you can now afford to be more liberal with your energy usage.

Many use solar power kits to supplement the power company supply, this gives them the flexibility to avoid power outages (particularly useful for staying connected online) and in particular in times of heat waves and the power outages that come with it, you can remain cool by running fans and some air conditioning units.

So far I have put together 3 different DIY Solar Power kits (read the review page by clicking the link) and the guide I recommend most can be found by [clicking here]
